INTERSCHUTZ USA Announces its Conference Advisory Board

Global Fire Service Leaders Collaborating on New Innovative Conference

CHICAGO – INTERSCHUTZ USA, the launch of Deutsche Messe AG’s leading INTERSCHUTZ brand by U.S. subsidiary Hannover Fairs USA, announced the members of its Conference Advisory Board this week. The Board, charged with the development and identification of classroom and hands on educational sessions addressing perspectives globally, represents five countries and three continents and continues to grow.

“INTERSCHUTZ USA’s value proposition is to bring the global fire service perspective to the U.S. It is vital that we engage fire service leadership from around the world, not only to identify topics and need but also to secure the appropriate instructors,” said Rachel Lesczynski, Show Manager for INTERSCHUTZ USA. “The levels of interest and participation to take part in this new event have been overwhelming. I cannot thank Commissioner Thiel (Philadelphia FD) and the global INTERSCHUTZ family enough in gathering this group of thought leaders.”

“I challenged Ed, Rachel and the team when we agreed to host INTERSCHUTZ USA not to overlook the opportunity to glean new and diverse perspectives domestically, in addition to global insights,” said Fire Commissioner Adam Thiel, Philadelphia Fire Department. “The make-up of today’s fire service is different than it was 30 years ago. In building a modern event, it is important that contributors, instructors and classes reflect that development and diversity.’

“I couldn’t be prouder of the work Rachel and her team have done in embracing the global vision of this event and its development. I continue to respect and appreciate the support Commissioner Thiel, his staff and the region continue to provide in hosting this worldwide gathering,” said Ed Nichols, Vice President, Public Safety and Commercial Vehicle for Hannover Fairs USA. “The excitement building around the launch of INTERSCHUTZ USA is encouraging, regionally, nationally and internationally.”
